Clinical Research Nurse (Short Term Assignment)

This position will provide medical leave coverage and work a maximum of 30 hours per week, up to 6 weeks.

Base Pay Range: $50.00/hr - $60.00/hr

This assignment is expected to work on-site 5 days per week for up to 30 hours.

The contractor will provide laser and other aesthetic treatments to patients daily. During downtime, they will support patient recruitment and other general clinic duties.

Minimum Requirements:

1. Must be a Registered Nurse with laser certification or prior experience with lasers in a clinical, dermatology, aesthetics, or plastic surgery setting.
2. Registered Nurse (RN) with an active license.
3. Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience in dermatology, plastic surgery, or aesthetics.
4. Experience in a clinical research setting preferred.
5. Strong knowledge of GCP, FDA regulations, and clinical trial protocols.
6. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
7. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
8. Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
9. No medical conditions preventing access to a surgical suite.

Duties & Responsibilities:

1. Administer laser and other aesthetic treatments in accordance with approved protocols.
2. Support the recruitment, screening, and enrollment of study participants.
3. Provide patient education and ensure informed consent is obtained.
4. Monitor and document patient progress, adverse events, and treatment outcomes.
5. Maintain accurate and timely documentation in Case Report Forms (CRFs) and other study-related materials.
6. Collaborate with physicians, study coordinators, and other clinical staff to ensure the smooth conduct of clinical trials.
7. Assist with the development and implementation of clinical protocols and workflows.
8. Ensure compliance with FDA regulations, Good Clinical Practice (GCP), and other applicable guidelines.
9. Provide clinical training and support to internal staff and visiting healthcare professionals.
10. Maintain a clean and organized clinic environment.
11. Support the Clinical Research Center Coordinator in administrative and operational tasks as needed.
12. Participate in periodic audits, inspections, and quality assurance activities.
13. Collaborate with internal departments, including R&D, Regulatory Affairs, and Marketing, to provide clinical insights.
14. Other duties as needed or required.

Preferred Qualifications:

1. Certification in aesthetic procedures or dermatologic treatments.
2. Experience using Cutera devices or other aesthetic laser or medical technologies.
