Job summary

University of Florida's Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology seeks a Clinical Research Nurse to support the MOMitor project, collaborating with division research staff. The role involves communicating with patients, following treatment protocols, scheduling outpatient visits, and recording data in EMR.

You will assist physicians and the research team with enrollment, data collection tools such as REDCap, and regulatory documentation, coordinating care and maintaining sponsor and regulatory

Qualifications

• Graduate of a nationally accredited nursing program.
• Licensed as a registered nurse in Florida.
• Four years of professional nursing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Respond to patient alerts, assess symptoms, document findings, and follow clinical protocols in EMR and data collection tools.
• Obtain and record research data with physicians and team; enroll study subjects and interview participants; review medical records and assist in planning nursing aspects of research.
• Build relationships with patients and families, coordinate care across locations, and maintain contact with agencies involved in the research.
• Determine eligibility of participants; obtain informed consent; schedule participation and ensure protocol compliance; create data collection tools in REDCap.
• Collaborate with sponsors, auditors, and IRB submissions; communicate findings accurately; perform other duties as needed.
