Job summary

Houston Methodist is seeking a Research Coordinator II to oversee day-to-day activities of clinical studies. Under minimal supervision you will ensure accurate data collection, documentation, and safety of research participants, gathering patient data as specified in study protocols.

You will qualify patients for studies, obtain informed consent, monitor enrollment, and support regulatory and administrative tasks to help ensure study success and compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Four years of research experience required.
• CCRC - Certified Clinical Research Coordinator (ACRP) or CCRP - Certified Clinical Research Professional (SOCRA) certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate day-to-day activities of research protocols.
• Assess and determine qualification of patients for studies.
• Ensure accurate data collection, documentation, and safety of participants.
• Obtain informed consent and monitor study procedures.
• Assist with budget development and regulatory documents.
