Job summary

Fred Hutchinson Cancer Center in Seattle seeks a CORS cellular immunotherapy Autoimmune Clinical Research Nurse (CRN) to support the implementation of a new autoimmune clinic, patient care, and protocol compliance. This on-site, 1.0 FTE role runs Monday–Friday, 8:00 am–5:00 pm with times that may vary.

The CRN will partner with the clinic team to educate patients, coordinate with investigators, and ensure safety and regulatory adherence for protocol-driven visits.

Qualifications

• Baccalaureate degree required.
• Current Washington State RN license or multi-state license (MSL) with WA residency within 60 days.
• Current BLS AHA Health Provider Card required and renewed every two years.
• Minimum 3 years of recent oncology experience.
• Demonstrated ability to work in an interdisciplinary team.
• Demonstrated critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with clinical research preferred.
• Proficiency with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams.

Responsibilities

• Maintains equilibrium between care of the research participant, protocol requirements and compliance.
• Utilizes nursing expertise to advocate for others when needed.
• Provides nursing and clinical operations support to the research team.
• Educates patients and families and documents appropriately.
• Bridge patient from protocol requirements to clinical care with clinic nurses.
• Pre-screens patients and confirms eligibility.
• Supports adverse event assessments and documentation for data entry.
