Job Description - Clinical Research Nurse (252224)

Position Overview

Coordinate and facilitate the conduct of clinical research protocols supported by NCI, industry, cooperative groups, or grant-funded and investigator-initiated studies. Provide leadership in managing clinical research protocols to ensure participant recruitment, protocol compliance, safety, and data quality. Collaborate with the clinical research team to develop tools for monitoring trial accrual, and coordinate study activation and protocol amendments.

Location

This position supports the Fox Chase Cancer Center Office of Clinical Research at Temple University Hospital, Main Campus, East Norriton, and Buckingham Campuses. It involves interaction with investigators, healthcare team members, service line staff, and research participants/families.

Work Schedule

Flexibility in work schedule is preferred to ensure coverage of study responsibilities.

Qualifications

1. Education: Bachelor’s Degree (Required); Graduate-level classes or degree in a relevant field (Preferred)
2. Experience: 2 years as a Clinical Research Nurse (Preferred); 2 years in oncology nursing (Preferred); 2 years in oncology clinical trials (Preferred); Knowledge of chemotherapy administration (Preferred)
3. Licenses/Certifications: RN License in PA (Required); Oncology Nursing Certification (Preferred); Clinical Research Certifications (Preferred)
