Job summary

BayCare Health System seeks a Clinical Research Nurse to support gastroenterology studies in Palm Harbor, FL. The role includes coordinating trials, ensuring protocol compliance, and handling regulatory documentation.

You will travel to Mease Countryside Hospital in Safety Harbor for patient procedures and work within a team dedicated to clinical excellence and patient safety.

Qualifications

• Associates in Nursing or Diploma in Nursing required.
• Bachelor's in Nursing preferred.
• RN certification/licensure as applicable per role.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates and implements research studies under PI direction in compliance with GCP, IRB, and regulations.
• Maintains study protocol adherence and schedule of events.
• Schedules patient visits for protocol-related procedures and data collection.

Title: Clinical Research Nurse

Facility: BayCare Medical Group Gastroenterology Office (Palm Harbor Florida)

• This position will include travel to Mease Countryside Hospital in Safety Harbor for patient procedures

Responsibilities

• Coordinates and implements research studies for assigned services under the direction of the Principal investigator in accordance with the standards of good clinical practice, federal and state regulations and institutional review board (IRB) requirements
• Ensures adherence to the study protocol and schedule of events
• Patient visit scheduling for protocol related procedures
• Screening, study recruitment, preparation of IRB reports
• Establishment and maintenance of regulatory documents
• Performing the process of informed consent and HIPPA authorization
• Clinical follow-up of study subjects
• Creation and completion of source worksheets,
• Collecting source data for electronic data capture (EDC) systems or Case Report Form (CRF) completion
• Assesses patients for trial-related and non-trial related symptoms
• Reporting of adverse events, serious adverse events, and dispensing / accountability of investigational product
• Must work independently and use sound judgment while performing job duties
• Performs duties as assigned under the scope of related certification or licensure
