This position will be based at Loyola University Chicago’s Health Sciences Campus in Maywood, Illinois, but may occasionally require work at a Loyola University Medical Center satellite campus.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Plans and implements clinical trials, coordinating with all team members, overseeing IRB, regulatory and/or FDA submissions, budget preparation, and study management tool development.
• Coordinates all aspects of assigned trials in compliance with federal guidelines.
• Collaborates with the PI in the case management of protocol patients, ensuring compliance with protocol and regulatory requirements and patient billing compliance.
• Prepares and participates in Cooperative Group Audits, NCI, FDA, Sponsor GCP quality audits, and internal audits.
• Participates in program research planning, including protocol development, data reporting, and grant reporting.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Minimum Education and/or Work Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree OR equivalent training acquired via work experience or education.
• 1-2 years of previous job-related experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing.
• 3-5 years of previous job-related experience.
• Experience with oncology population.
• Project management skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience working with clinical trials preferred.
• Prior supervisory experience preferred.
• Prior quality improvement or educational experience.

Certificates/Credentials/Licenses

• Current Illinois RN Licensure.
• Desirable: ACRP or SoCRA certification.
• Desirable: Oncology Nursing Society certification.

Computer Skills

Computer literacy with word processing, Excel, internet web, databases, electronic data capture, electronic image transmission.

Salary

Position Maximum Salary or Hourly Rate: $43.00/hr

Position Minimum Salary or Hourly Rate: $40.00/hr
