Strong leadership, budgeting, and protocol design experience are essential, with a focus on safeguarding participant safety and study integrity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required with nine years of relevant experience or equivalent training.
• Experience supervising clinical research staff and coordinating with IRB and sponsors.
• Knowledge of GCP, FDA regulations, and clinical research SOPs.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the implementation of clinical research studies, ensuring SOP and regulatory compliance.
• Interact daily with director, staff, and PI to satisfy protocol requirements.
• Manage budgets, develop financial plans, and reconcile accounts for research projects.
• Provide supervision to clinical research staff to promote enrollment and data integrity.
• Serve as resource for the research community and identify process improvements.
• Mitigate risk with physicians/faculty and other departments; handle compliance issues.
• Possibly supervise exempt/non-exempt staff and adjust staffing as needed.
