Job summary

UT Southwestern Medical Center is seeking a Research Operations leader to coordinate the RA team, supervise Regulatory Assistants, and ensure compliant execution of oncology and hematology clinical trials. You will supervise workflows, contribute to study activation, and partner with DOT managers to prioritize submissions while ensuring high-quality regulatory documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in medical or science related field.
• 5 years of clinical research experience.
• Experience mentoring in a clinical research setting is desirable.
• BLS, CPR/AED may be required; ACRP or SOCRA certification a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day RA team operations including staffing, budgeting, and regulatory requirements.
• Assist in study design, implementation, and administration ensuring HRPP/IRB compliance and grant/contract parameters.
• Monitor active protocols for compliance with HRPP/IRB and regulations; ensure timely data submission to sponsors.
• Coordinate scheduling and efficient use of research facilities; supervise billing activities and study finances.
• Maintain patient safety oversight and adhere to HRPP standards across studies.
