Job summary

Montefiore Medical Center seeks a Clinical Research Manager to oversee day-to-day operations of Dr. Olubukola Nafiu’s Anesthesiology Research Lab, guiding a team of medical students and researchers and coordinating with the Department of Anesthesiology and external collaborators.

You will manage study design execution, regulatory compliance, patient recruitment, data handling, and reporting, with occasional travel for multicenter meetings or training sessions.

Qualifications

• MS is required; PhD preferred.
• MD is preferred.
• Experience with regulatory submissions (IRB, FDA, multicenter) is expected.
• Clinical research experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan multicenter project implementation with key study personnel.
• Collect and accurately record data and outcomes.
• Manage study implementation at Montefiore and other sites.
• Coordinate with Montefiore personnel to ensure study coverage.
• Oversee patient screening and consent; implement enrollment.
• Monitor health status of subjects and data entry for projects.
• Ensure adherence to study protocols and regulatory paperwork.
• Liaise with IRB, NIH, FDA for approvals.
• Supervise a team of lab members and provide mentorship.
