Job summary

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree and at least five years in clinical research or lab management, plus a preferred phlebotomy certification.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in applicable field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Five years of related experience in clinical research and/or laboratory management.
• Certification in phlebotomy (preferred) and knowledge of biosafety standards.

Responsibilities

• Operates and maintains research instrumentation.
• Organizes laboratory supplies in exam rooms and stockrooms.
• Maintains files with equipment inventory and materials.
• Disposes laboratory waste according to safety regulations.
• Re-stocks supplies and processes orders; documents receipts.
• Supports collection and processing of biological samples and related measurements.
• Maintains room schedules and coordinates study-related services and workflow.
• Supervises student workers and manages their schedules and tasks.
• Trains staff in processing of biological samples and SOPs.
• Maintains trainings, manuals, and certifications in safety procedures.
