Job summary

Alcanza Clinical Research is seeking a Lab Coordinator to ensure compliant lab procedures across trials, manage samples, and mentor new hires. You will support shipments, inventory, and regulatory training in a dynamic, multi-site research environment.

Qualified candidates will have a high school diploma (associate degree preferred), be proficient with Microsoft Office, and have strong organizational and communication skills. Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or equivalent; Associate degree preferred.
• Bilingual English/Spanish a plus.

Responsibilities

• Draw and process specimens according to trial requirements.
• Assist with specimen shipments to central labs and ensure proper shipping methods.
• Monitor expiration dates on lab equipment and supplies.
• Unpack and store incoming lab shipments.
• Maintain study-specific lab inventory and readiness for new studies.
• Transport samples between locations.
• Mentor new hires and provide shadowing opportunities.
• Complete required training (CITI GCP, IATA) as required.
• Attend SIVs and sponsor-required lab training.
• Support other clinical research tasks as needed and ensure HIPAA/compliance.
