Job summary

Nationwide Children's Hospital in Columbus, OH is seeking a Financial Analyst to collect, analyze, and summarize the financial objectives of the clinical research office. The role supports management of budgets, contracts, expenditures, invoicing, and overall fiscal compliance across clinical research projects.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, or Finance, with MBA preferred and CPA preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, accounting, or finance required.
• Master’s degree preferred.
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Participates in strategy initiatives for financial contracts, budgets, expenditures and fiscal tracking.
• Develops and distributes information to analyze fiscal operations and support budget management.
• Generates and monitors reports related to enrollments, grants, and fiscal management goals; communicates with investigators and collaborators.
• Guides the McConnell NEXT Consortium to initiate projects, develop budgets and expense reporting, and implement new sub-sites as collaborators.
• Assists with organizing and coordinating operating budgets and ongoing analysis for collaborators and funding agencies.
• Monitors KPIs to measure efficiency of resource expenditures and office operations.
