The Clinical Research Director (CRD), Immunology & Inflammation (I&I) Therapeutic Area, is responsible for creating and executing the clinical development plan in collaboration with clinical operations, advancing scientific knowledge, and incorporating new methodologies.

Main Responsibilities
  • Develop clinical strategies and document them in the clinical development plan with global teams and internal partners.
  • Lead clinical study design and protocol creation.
  • Oversee clinical study execution in compliance with SOPs, GCP, ICH, and regulations.
  • Review and support regulatory documents and submissions.
  • Contribute to data review, interpretation, publication, and regulatory interactions.
  • Represent Clinical Development to health authorities and external communities.
  • Collaborate on clinical strategies with partners and translate biology into clinical applications.
  • Evaluate business development opportunities from a clinical perspective.
  • Maintain high ethical standards and integrity.
Scientific and Technical Expertise

Requires strong scientific and clinical knowledge in dermatology, leadership skills, and experience in advancing assets from discovery to clinical development, with expertise in translational medicine, biomarkers, and clinical trial design.

  • Deep knowledge in dermatology and clinical research.
  • Experience with novel approaches and problem-solving skills.
  • Understanding of disease pathogenesis, biomarkers, and clinical endpoints.
  • Established professional connections and a credible publication record.
About You
Basic Qualifications:
  • Medical Doctor, board certified or equivalent in dermatology or allergy/immunology.
  • Education meeting LCME standards or equivalent.
  • Over 5 years of clinical/scientific experience and over 10 years in industry within dermatology.
  • Strong background in clinical research or pharmaceutical experience.
  • Knowledge of drug development preferred.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and networking skills.
  • Fluent in English.
