Job summary

UT Southwestern is seeking a Clinical Research Data Assistant II to manage data across local and national studies under supervision. You will ensure timely, accurate entry of protocol data and support QA/QC activities while coordinating with study teams to improve data quality and regulatory compliance.

The role involves data management tasks, assisting with regulatory submissions, audits, and participant recruitment under appropriate training.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or higher in medical/science field.
• 1–2 years data management or research experience with documentation.
• Requires CPR/BLS certification per affiliate location.

Responsibilities

• Enter data into case report forms and data collection systems.
• Review medical records for eligibility criteria and accuracy.
• Manage data queries and potential edits for data integrity.
• Compile data for regulatory submissions and sponsor reports.
• Support audits and monitor readiness per requirements.
• Assist in preparing annual reports and IRB modifications.
• Recruit and enroll patients under supervision when applicable.
• Conduct basic study procedures with training as needed.
