Job summary

The Statistical and Research Analyst II at the Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC - Univ) will enter and manage data in the Endocrine Surgery clinical databases, assist in drafting and submitting clinical research protocols to PRC/IRB, and help with data analysis and manuscript preparation.

The role supports independent work with limited supervision and includes updating IRB protocols, assisting with grant submissions, and contributing to abstracts and publications for clinical research

Qualifications

• A bachelor's degree with mathematics and/or statistics courses may be substituted for the required work experience.
• Proficiency with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and statistical software (SATA, SPSS, SAS, etc).
• A high school diploma and two years work experience as a Statistical and Research Analyst I.

Responsibilities

• Collect/enter data into Endocrine Surgery clinical databases.
• Assist with clinical studies, including testing of new systems to be used intraoperatively.
• Assist in drafting/submission/maintenance of clinical research protocols: MUSC PRC and MUSC IRB, progress reports and renewals.
