Job summary

Saint Joseph’s Hospital and Medical Center in Phoenix, AZ is seeking a Clinical Research Professional to advance medical knowledge by managing clinical trials with a focus on data integrity, patient safety, and regulatory compliance.

You will oversee trial activities including recruitment, data collection, documentation, and IRB/FDA submissions, coordinating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure protocol adherence.

Qualifications

• Three years of clinical research experience.
• Strong understanding of regulatory guidelines (IRB and FDA).
• Excellent data integrity and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and implement procedures to collect data from patient charts, medical records, interviews, questionnaires, diagnostic tests and other sources.
• Coordinate patient care within the multi-disciplinary team.
• Act as a specialists/resource person; provide support, recommendations and advice to all personnel involved with the study.
• Able to review minimally necessary data extracts for the purpose of identifying potential research candidates from our patient population.
• Participate in various study procedures that may include obtaining blood, tissue or other specimens for laboratory analysis; cardiac testing and interventional procedures.
• Ensure compliance with protocol guidelines and IRB/FDA requirements; prepare IRB documents and report SAE; annual reports; study closure.
