Job summary

The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center in Columbus, OH is seeking a Clinical Research Coordinator to support daily clinical research activities for the Department of Internal Medicine/Division of Immunology and Rheumatology. You will coordinate patient records, screen and enroll participants, and ensure informed consent and regulatory compliance.

This patient-facing, onsite role requires a bachelor's in a biological/medical field and at least one year of clinical research experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in biological sciences, health sciences, social sciences or other medical field or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• One year experience in a clinical research capacity required.
• Inpatient clinical research knowledge, medical terminology, and clinical research certification are preferred; MS Office skills desirable.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and perform daily clinical research activities under approved protocols.
• Recruit, interview and enroll patients; obtain informed consent according to regulations.
• Monitor patient care, collect data, and ensure IRB/FDA compliance.
• Prepare reports, assist with quality assurance reviews, and support protocol development.
