Job summary

The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center is seeking a Clinical Research Coordinator to support cardiovascular research under the Center for Clinical Research Management. Qualifications

• 1 year of relevant experience required.
• 2-4 years of relevant experience preferred; cardiac disease knowledge preferred; medical terminology desired; clinical research certification desired; computer skills with Microsoft software desired.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and perform daily clinical research activities in accordance with approved protocols.
• Recruit, interview and enroll patients, obtain informed consent, and educate patients and families about the study.
• Schedule and follow through of patient care appointments, procedures and testing per protocol.
• Assist with data collection, processing, coding, and analysis; generate reports for data validity.
• Ensure compliance with IRBs, FDA regulations, and sponsor requirements; prepare for external reviews.
