Job summary

The University of Virginia's Non-Treatment Research Operations (NTRO) Team within the Cancer Center Office of Clinical Research is seeking Clinical Research Coordinators at varying levels to support multiple trials on-site in Charlottesville, VA. Responsibilities include participant recruitment, consent, data entry, specimen handling, and study documentation.

CRC candidates should have a Bachelor's degree and relevant healthcare exposure; advanced roles require more years of clinical research

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's Degree Required or equivalent combination of experience, education and or certifications.
• Experience: None. Some experience in a healthcare setting and/or knowledge of medical terminology is preferred.
• CRC 2: Education: Bachelor's Degree Required or equivalent combination of experience, education and or certifications; 1 year clinical research experience recommended.
• CRC 3: Education: Bachelor's Degree Required; minimum 3 years clinical research; CCRP/CCRC preferred; within 1 year of hire.
• CRC 4: Education: Bachelor's Degree Required; at least 7 years clinical research; CCRP/CCRC required within 1 year.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, screen, and enroll study participants meeting criteria for multiple trials.
• Obtain informed consent and maintain contact with subjects as needed.
• Collect, enter, and compile data in accordance with protocols.
• Prepare documentation, logs, and study materials; ship specimens as needed.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
