Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center (TTUHSC) is seeking a Clinical Research Coordinator in Amarillo to oversee daily operations of clinical trials in assigned departments. The role includes supervising staff, ensuring data integrity, coordinating IRB submissions, and training new employees.

The position requires healthcare-related training or a related bachelor's degree, plus certification in clinical research or the ability to obtain within two years. Travel is expected as needed.

Qualifications

• Healthcare-related education with licensure or a related Bachelor's degree.
• Certification: CCRP or CCR-C or ability to obtain clinical research certification within 2 years.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily operations of clinical research studies in assigned departments.
• Develop and maintain relationships with faculty and manufacturers involved in clinical trials.
• Facilitate IRB submissions and ongoing communications via Cayuse system.
• Recruit and enroll human subjects while protecting rights and safety.
• Assist with study budgeting and development of research protocols.
• Provide education and training to staff and volunteers as needed.
• Maintain study files and data quality and integrity.
