Job summary

TTUHSC Clinical Research Institute in Lubbock seeks a Clinical Research Nurse to oversee nursing duties in support of clinical trials. The role emphasizes protecting human subjects, study management, and data integrity within a research-focused environment.

The position requires an active Texas RN license, clinical research certification (or within 2 years of hire), and ongoing credentialing with affiliated hospitals. Strong organization, teamwork, and communication are essential.

Qualifications

Completion of a Board of Nursing accredited program of professional nursing.
Current Registered Nursing license in the state of Texas.
Current certification as a Clinical Research Professional or obtain within two years of hire.
Obtains credentialing approval from affiliated hospitals as required.
CPR certification and participation in the call schedule.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain relationships with faculty members involved in clinical research.
Market the Clinical Research Institute to stakeholders and sponsors.
Facilitate IRB applications and Cayuse submissions.
Recruit and enroll human subjects while protecting rights and safety.
Maintain study files and data quality across studies.
Assist with clinical research budgets and protocol development.
Support training for staff and students in research procedures.
Attend meetings and participate in professional development activities.
Maintain required certifications and licensure relevant to the role.
