Job summary

HCA Healthcare in Austin is seeking a Clinical Research Coordinator to support the Principal Investigator and study teams in coordinating trial activities, ensuring regulatory compliance with FDA/ICH/IRB requirements, and maintaining accurate EMR records.

The CRC will screen and recruit patients, obtain informed consent, perform phlebotomy and basic procedures within licensure, educate staff, and coordinate study logistics with medical personnel to deliver safe, high-quality research care.

Qualifications

Minimum of one year clinical research experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Coordinate study activities with the Principal Investigator and study team.
Ensure compliance with FDA, ICH, IRB requirements and SOPs.
Screen and recruit patients based on protocol criteria; obtain informed consent.
Perform phlebotomy and IV procedures within licensure scope.
Maintain study documents and patient records in EMR and hospital systems.
Educate staff regarding protocols and study procedures.
Coordinate communication with sponsors, CROs, and laboratories.
