Job summary

Nationwide Children’s Hospital is seeking a Clinical Research Coordinator to manage elements of a clinical study in accordance with ICH/GCP, SOPs, and institutional policies. The role includes start-up, launch, day-to-day study management, and mentoring other CRCs to ensure consistency across study activities.

The successful candidate will recruit and enroll subjects, ensure safety and protocol adherence, support regulatory processes, and contribute to data management and CRF completion.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or equivalent work-related experience required.
• BA/BS degree preferred.
• CRA/CRC certification preferred.
• Understanding of medical terminology and clinical trials preferred.
• Working knowledge of PCs and data management software.
• Demonstrated analytical skills with accuracy and attention to detail.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Goal-oriented and self-directed, ability to manage complex projects independently.
• Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to actively participate as a team player.
• Eighteen months experience in clinical research or health care field, required.

Responsibilities

• Conducts clinical studies as outlined in the study protocol.
• Ensures subject safety and adherence to protocol.
• Recruits, consents and enrolls subjects per ICH/GCP regulations.
• Coordinates start-up, launch, and day-to-day study management.
• Trains and mentors other CRCs to ensure consistency.
• Maintains regulatory binder and handles IRB issues.
• Completes Case Report Forms (CRFs) prior to monitor visits.
• Assists with study budget and recruitment plan.
