Job summary

Nationwide Children's Hospital is seeking a Clinical Research Coordinator to manage elements of clinical studies in line with ICH/GCP guidelines. You will handle start-up, launch, day-to-day management, and closure activities, while ensuring regulatory compliance and data integrity.

The role requires an Associate's Degree (Bachelor's preferred) and CRC/CRA certification after hire; CNA/PCA/LPN/MA or equivalent experience is also required. Prior clinical research experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Recruits, consents and enrolls subjects according to ICH/GCP regulations; acts as patient/family advocate.
• Ensures subject meets inclusion/exclusion criteria and notifies investigator if safety is jeopardized.
• Collects and manages research data and subject information; maintains accurate data collection.
• Prepares and processes human specimens for use in research studies; collects samples as needed.
• Completes screening sheets and recruitment logs.
• Creates source documents to facilitate data collection and protocol execution.
• Collaborates and schedules subject study visits with PI/sub-I and hospital services.
• Adheres to departmental quality control guidelines.
• Completes Case Report Forms (CRFs) and maintains regulatory binder.
