Works under the direction of an Investigator(s) with limited supervision, to coordinate research projects. This position primarily performs patient/participant coordination, however, may conduct data management in smaller departments on as needed basis. Collects and ensures quality control of clinical or basic research data in support of multiple and/or complex research studies. The position will be for a Clinical Research Coordinator II working under the direction of the Pediatric Director of Research, Clinical Research Coordinator Lead and other Principal Investigators to manage ongoing clinical research studies. Responsibilities will include coordinating all aspects of study conduct, identifying and consenting study participants, collecting and managing study data, assisting with protocol development and implementation, preparing and maintaining regulatory documentation and IRB submissions, ensuring compliance with study protocols and institutional requirements, assisting with budgeting and invoicing, and providing overall operational support for the investigators' research programs.
This position is security-sensitive and subject to Texas Education Code 51.215, which authorizes UT Southwestern to obtain criminal history record information.
