Job summary

MemorialCare is seeking a Clinical Research Coordinator II for our Research Administration department in Fountain Valley, CA. The role supports clinical research protocols, screens potential subjects, and coordinates study activities under supervision and with the PI and sponsors.

The CRC II will manage daily trial activities, assist with training, monitor data quality, and ensure regulatory compliance. The position includes after-hours support as needed and emphasizes collaboration and

Qualifications

• Associates degree or equivalent education required.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Research certification (ACRP, SoCRA or equivalent) required.
• Phlebotomy certification preferred.
• Current CITI training required.

Responsibilities

• Independently manages all aspects of conducting clinical trials from startup to closeout for multiple concurrent moderately complex trials.
• Coordinate subject recruitment, screening, informed consent, enrollment and follow-up.
• Monitor study progress, data collection, adverse events and protocol adherence.
• Oversee trial budgeting, expenses, and site communications.
• Assist training and mentoring of CRC I/II staff as needed.
• Participate in after-hours support if necessary.
