Job summary

MemorialCare Health System is seeking a Clinical Research Coordinator I in Fountain Valley to recruit, enroll and follow up on study participants across therapeutic areas. The CRC I will coordinate trial participation, track consent, and ensure protocol compliance with SOPs, GCP/ICH and applicable regulations.

The position requires a minimum of two years in clinical research, strong data management skills, and excellent communication.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years of clinical research experience required.
• Knowledge of federal, state and local regulation requirements preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills required.
• Ability to read and understand clinical trial protocols.
• Strong data management and attention to detail required.
• Familiarity with medical terminology/environment required.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Enlist, maintain, and assure protocol compliance for all study participants.
• Collaborate with study investigators to determine eligibility.
• Screen potential participants and obtain informed consent.
• Ensure GCP/ICH compliance and regulatory adherence.
• Coordinate patient care per protocol and manage drug accountability.
• Document findings, monitor safety, and report adverse events.
