Job summary

The University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas seeks a Research Coordinator to support investigator-led studies. You will coordinate patient participation, collect data, and ensure quality control across trials.

You will handle regulatory documentation, assist with IRB submissions, manage study budgets, and communicate with study teams and participants. A Bachelor’s degree in medical or science fields is preferred, with opportunities for growth and excellent benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in medical or science field.
• 2 years clinical research experience.
• Experience or advanced degree may be considered in lieu of education or experience.

Responsibilities

• Directly interacts with clinical research participants via phone, telehealth, or in-person.
• Coordinates regulatory documentation to comply with industry standards and policies.
• Schedules procedures per research study and sequences with PI oversight if needed.
• Screens, recruits, enrolls and follows subjects per protocol guidelines.
• Maintains and coordinates data collection information for each study.
• Assists in developing and implementing research studies and protocols.
• Monitors patient safety by reviewing records and reporting per HRPP standards.
• May perform research billing activities as needed.
• Provides in-service training to study teams.
