UT Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas, TX seeks a Clinical Research Coordinator to support investigator-led studies with limited supervision. The role focuses on patient/participant coordination, data quality, and regulatory documentation to ensure study integrity.

The position requires a bachelor’s degree in a medical or science field and at least two years of clinical research experience; BLS/CPR AED may be required depending on protocol, with ACRP or SOCRA certification a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in medical or science related field
• 2 years clinical research experience; additional years or advanced degree may substitute
• BLS CPR AED may be required depending on protocol; ACRP or SOCRA certification a plus

Responsibilities

• Directly interacts with clinical research participants via telephone, telehealth or in-person.
• Coordinates regulatory documentation to comply with industry standards, policies and FDA requirements.
• Schedules procedures per study; non-licensed coordinators may pend study orders with PI oversight.
• Screens, recruits, enrolls and follows subjects per protocol; assist with consent processes.
• Maintains data collection, develops CRFs or data tools as needed.
• Assists in developing and implementing studies, writes protocols; performs procedures per protocol.
• May assist PI with trial budgeting and fiscal management.
• Monitors patient safety and reporting per HRPP standards.
• May perform research billing activities; coordinates data management for studies.
• Serves as liaison for annual reports to federal/state/local agencies.
