Job summary

Iterative Health is seeking a Clinical Research Coordinator II to independently coordinate daily trial activities, ensure protocol compliance, and safeguard participant safety across studies in gastroenterology, hepatology, and cardiology.

In this role you will partner with investigators, sponsors, CROs, and internal teams to drive enrollment goals, manage complex visit schedules, perform procedures, and maintain accurate study documentation while upholding GCP, HIPAA, and site SOPs.

Qualifications

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in a scientific, healthcare, or related discipline required.
• 3-5 years of clinical research or healthcare experience required.
• Experience in gastroenterology, hepatology, or cardiology preferred.
• CCRC® or CCRP® certification preferred.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Independently coordinate and manage industry-sponsored clinical trials from study start-up through closeout with minimal supervision.
• Manage complex study visit schedules and protocol-related activities to meet timelines and requirements.
• Lead patient recruitment and retention, including chart review, outreach, informed consent discussions, and enrollment tracking.
• Conduct protocol-required patient visits and assessments per protocol, GCP, and site SOPs.
• Perform protocol-required clinical procedures including vital signs, ECGs, specimen collection, and phlebotomy where permitted.
• Process laboratory specimens and shipments per protocol and IATA regulations.
• Maintain accurate study documentation, source records, and CTMS updates.
• Ensure high-quality data entry and timely resolution of data queries.
• Serve as primary contact for study participants and coordinate with sponsors, CROs, and internal teams.
• Prepare for sponsor, CRO, and regulatory monitoring visits and inspections.
• Maintain inventory of study equipment and investigational products onsite.
• Support process improvements to enhance site performance and patient experience.
