Job summary

UTHealth Houston seeks a Research Coordinator II to support human subjects research, recruitment, data collection, and regulatory submissions. This role involves coordinating across departments and sites, maintaining regulatory documentation, and ensuring protocol compliance.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's degree in a related field and at least 2 years of relevant experience; CITI training and familiarity with REDCap/EPIC are preferred. Some travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field required; may substitute years of experience for education.
• 2 years of relevant experience required; substitutes allowed with additional education.

Responsibilities

• Assist with human subjects research activities, including participant recruitment and informed consent.
• Data collection, entry, management, analysis, and reporting across multi-site studies.
• Coordinate regulatory submissions (IRB) and ensure compliance with study protocols.
• Prepare progress reports and assist with budgets and grant proposals.
• Maintain documentation and support monitoring visits, audits, and inspections.
• Provide training or guidance to study personnel as needed.
