Description

The Clinical Research Coordinator assists in the daily activities of clinical research studies, obtains informed consent, and collects, maintains, and organizes study information. They also assist in preparing grant applications and related documents (e.g., Institutional Review Board, Grants and Contracts Office).

Responsibilities

  1. Collects and records study data; inputs all information into the database.
  2. Obtains informed consent under minimal supervision and educates participants regarding study requirements.
  3. Supports activities related to clinical research, including answering calls, screening participants, registering subjects, and administering questionnaires.
  4. Prepares grant applications and IRB/GCO submissions and filings.
  5. Maintains source documents and subject files according to hospital procedures; ensures accurate data through chart reviews.
  6. Secures, delivers, and ships clinical specimens as required.
  7. Prepares for monitoring visits.
  8. Performs other related duties.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Science or a related field.
  • 1-2 years of research experience.
