Job summary

Tampa General Hospital is seeking a Core Clinical Research Coordinator 1 to oversee day-to-day trial activities at the Tampa Main Campus. You will recruit and screen participants, obtain informed consent, and conduct study visits and protocol procedures under supervision.

Responsibilities include ensuring participant safety, collecting data in sponsor's data capture tools, and coordinating with sponsor, PI, and hospital departments while following federal regulations.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of experience as a Clinical Research Coordinator/Associate or equivalent patient-facing clinical role.
• ALL team members required to receive Phlebotomy training within 3 months of hire if no prior Phlebotomy experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in science, business, or health-related field is required.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day activities of clinical trials under supervision.
• Recruit, screen, and enroll participants; obtain informed consent.
• Conduct study visits and perform protocol-required procedures as permitted by policy.
