Job summary

Spaulding Rehabilitation Hospital Corporation is seeking a per diem Research Assistant to support clinical studies at our Cambridge location. This role involves recruiting and consenting patients, data collection, and coordinating visits under established study protocols.

Qualifications

Job Summary

• This is a per-diem position.

As the principal teaching hospital of the Harvard Medical School Department of Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation, new ideas and a passion for innovation are part of our makeup. These and other endeavors enhance Spaulding’s treatment programs, with clinical research results often quickly finding their way to the bedside.

Following established policies, procedures, and study protocols, provides assistance on clinical research studies, including recruiting, evaluating, and consenting patients for studies; collecting and organizing patient data; scheduling patients for study visits; performing clinical tests such as phlebotomy, EKGs, etc.; and maintaining and updating data generated by the study. Candidates who are in the process of completing their bachelor's degree have a six-month grace period from their hire date (up to one year if starting on a per diem basis) to provide degree equivalency verification.
