Qualifications

• Two years of college coursework in a relevant field and two years of experience in clinical/biomedical/behavioral research with human subjects.
• Equivalent education/experience may substitute for minimum qualifications except when licenses/certifications/registrations are required.
• Ability to multi-task in a research environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Preferred: experience with diabetes, data management, RedCap, Excel, and UW grant processes.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate operations of clinical, biomedical, and/or behavioral research studies involving human subjects under supervision.
• Support startup activities with sponsors and IRBs; assist with budgets, regulatory submissions, and startup documentation/approvals.
• Coordinate specialized tasks with the research team including equipment operation, specimen processing, and adverse reaction monitoring.
• Perform non-invasive procedures (e.g., DXA, EKG, anthropometric measurements).
• Maintain study files in compliance with FDA regulations; communicate protocol requirements to team.
