Job summary

The University of Washington is seeking a temporary Research Coordinator 3 in Seattle to lead and support multiple complex clinical studies in the lipid/cardiometabolic space under the PI Subramanian.

Reporting to the Professor, the role requires independent management of protocols, patient recruitment, IRB submissions, data integrity, and collaboration with sponsors and fiscal staff. UW offers a supportive, inclusive environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in science or health-related field with four years of clinical research experience.
• Experience in clinical lipid and/or diabetes research preferred.
• Experience in academic research environments preferred.
• Experience with data collection for human health research and IRB processes.
• Ability to manage multiple clinical research protocols independently.
• Strong written and verbal communication, organizational, and time-management skills.
• Detail-oriented with high accuracy; professional team player.

Responsibilities

• Oversee management and execution of multiple clinical research protocols.
• Coordinate participant recruitment, screening, and enrollment per IRB criteria.
• Maintain IRB submissions, amendments, and continuing reviews.
• Liaise with sponsors and monitors; manage reimbursement workflows.
• Ensure data integrity and audit readiness.
