The University of Miami/UHealth Department of SCCC is seeking a Full-Time Clinical Research Coordinator 1 in Miami, FL. This entry-level role involves data management and implementing simple clinical research protocols, with responsibilities spanning chart reviews, participant screening, and coordination of study timelines.

You will work with investigators, travel to clinics across Miami-Dade, and maintain study records in REDCap, ensuring regulatory compliance and participant safety throughout

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in a relevant field.
• Minimum 1 year of relevant clinical research experience.
• Strong communication, teamwork, and learning agility.
• Experience with REDCap or similar data management tools preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs chart review and pre-screening for participant eligibility and coordinates simple protocols.
• Manages data collection, study timelines, appointments, and site visit scheduling.
• Assists with moderate to complex tests and adapts procedures for quality improvement.
• Follows regulatory requirements and maintains study binders.
• Prepares regulatory reports and collaborates with investigators.
• Travels to Sylvester clinics and community partner sites to recruit, screen, and consent participants.
• Documents consent in REDCap and maintains study records.
• Prepares reports on screening, enrollment, retention, and data completeness.
