Job summary

The Department of Medicine, Division of Allergy and Infectious Diseases at the University of Washington is seeking a Research Coordinator to support clinical, biomedical, and behavioral studies involving human participants. You will help implement studies, manage participant activities, and maintain regulatory documentation for UW Positive Research focused on HIV treatment, remission, and co-infections.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field and one year of relevant experience.
• Experience coordinating clinical or human-subjects research activities.
• Experience maintaining research documentation and working with study protocols and regulatory requirements.
• Ability to manage multiple studies, participants, priorities, and deadlines with accuracy.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate day-to-day implementation of clinical, biomedical, and behavioral studies.
• Recruit, screen, enroll participants, and manage visits and follow-ups.
• Maintain regulatory documentation and assist with IRB submissions.
• Collect and enter study data, monitor quality and safety, and report adverse events.
• Participate in meetings and process-improvement efforts.
