Job summary

Rutgers Biomedical and Health Sciences (RBHS) seeks an Assistant Research Coordinator for the Department of Emergency Medicine at RWJ Medical School. Under the direction of the Research Director, you will coordinate and conduct clinical research and observational studies in Emergency Medicine with focus areas including in-hospital cardiac arrest, social emergency medicine, and ultrasound.

Your duties include recruiting and consenting participants, collecting data from subjects and records,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant science with 2+ years of experience.
• Experience with human subjects research and IRB submission preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and online data systems.
• Ability to manage multiple research projects with high accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Recruits, consents, schedules and interviews study subjects.
• Collects quantitative and qualitative data from subjects and medical records.
• Creates and manages documents for IRB and other study activities.
• Prepares protocols, informed consent documents, modifications, renewals and IRB submissions.
• Abstracts data from medical records and enters data onto study forms.
• Maintains neat, up-to-date records of procedures and analyses.
• Ensures timely and accurate data entry into research databases and audits data.
