This entry-level position supports the Division of Pediatric Endocrinology and other divisions as a member of the Pediatric Research Office.
The Clinical Research Coordinator (CRC) 1 assists upper-level CRCs and Principal Investigators (PI) in activities related to the activation, execution, and management of clinical, patient-oriented research studies or protocols. Responsibilities include determining participant eligibility, recruiting and educating patients/participants, and collecting, compiling, and documenting clinical research data.
This role requires the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Under general supervision, the CRC 1 resolves most standard issues independently and refers complex issues to management or the PI as appropriate.
The position reports in person at VCU Health downtown Richmond, VA, with potential for remote/hybrid work following onboarding, 3-6 months of training, and manager approval.
