Job summary

Medix seeks a detail-oriented Clinical Research Coordinator in Denver, CO to drive study operations across ophthalmology trials. This on-site role supports protocol adherence, patient visits, and cross-functional collaboration with RAs, coordinators, and physicians.

You will manage 4–6 active trials, conduct 10–15 visits weekly, ensure proper informed consent, and track AEs/SAEs per regulatory standards in a fast-paced clinical environment.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of clinical research experience.
• 2+ years of ophthalmology research experience.
• High School Diploma required.
• GCP and IATA certifications (or willingness to complete in first week).
• Ability to work 100% on-site in Denver, CO.

Responsibilities

• Manage an active workload of 4 to 6 ophthalmology and retina clinical trials simultaneously, overseeing day-to-day study execution and protocol adherence throughout enrolling trials.
• Conduct and oversee 10 to 15 patient visits per week, including administering detailed informed consent documentation.
• Partner with a multidisciplinary team, including unmasked/masked coordinators, 2 dedicated research assistants, and an EDC data coordinator.
• Work directly with practice physicians on phase-appropriate investigational drug and pharma-sponsored trials.
• Track and submit Adverse Events (AEs), Serious Adverse Events (SAEs), and protocol deviations in accordance with regulatory requirements.
