The University of Chicago's BSD Rheumatology section seeks a Clinical Research Coordinator 1 to support PI-led trials within the Biological Sciences Division. You will coordinate daily trial activities, manage compliance, and assist with financial and personnel aspects.
Responsibilities include screening, enrollment, adverse event reporting, consent documentation, protocol submissions, patient education, site visits, and coordination with sponsors, IRB, and QA teams.
BSD MED - Rheumatology - Reid Research Staff
The Section of Rheumatology has a proud and long tradition of excellence in research-based patient care and clinical discovery. The section is comprised of nationally and internationally known faculty with expertise in all major types of autoimmune diseases including but not limited to: Lupus, Myositis, Systemic Sclerosis, Sarcoidosis, Rheumatology-Reproduction, Cancer Immunotherapy toxicities or Immune-related adverse events, Spondyloarthritis.
The Clinical Research Coordinator 1 provides support to Principal Investigator faculty of the Section of Rheumatology within the Biological Sciences Division under the direction of a departmental or lab research manager. While the Principal Investigator is primarily responsible for the overall design, conduct, and management of the clinical trial, the CRC1 works with the PI, department, sponsor, and institution to support, facilitate and coordinate the daily clinical trial activities and administration of the compliance, financial, personnel and other related aspects of the clinical study.
Education: Minimum requirements include a college or university degree in related field.
Work Experience: Minimum requirements include knowledge and skills developed through < 2 years of work experience in a related job discipline.
