Job summary

Ambrosia Behavioral Health in West Palm Beach, FL seeks an experienced Research Assistant to support the full lifecycle of clinical studies in behavioral health and neuroscience. The role requires hands-on research experience and strong regulatory knowledge.

The ideal candidate will coordinate participant recruitment, data management, and study compliance while working with sponsors, CROs, and monitors. On-site position with opportunities for growth within a supportive team.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in psychology, neuroscience, biology, public health, or related field.
  • Hands-on clinical research experience required.
  • Approximately 1–2 years of clinical research experience preferred.
  • Experience coordinating clinical trials and/or supporting study coordination.
  • Working knowledge of GCP and clinical regulations.
  • Experience with participant recruitment, screening, enrollment, and visits.
  • Experience with electronic data capture systems and research databases.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, communication, and follow-through.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and electronic medical records.
  • Experience in behavioral health, psychiatry, substance use, or mental health.
  • Experience working with sponsors, CROs, and research monitors.
  • ACRP or SOCRA certification.
  • Familiarity with qEEG, TMS, neurofeedback, neuromodulation, or related neuroscience technologies.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate clinical research studies from startup through closeout.
  • Support participant recruitment, screening, enrollment, retention, and study visits.
  • Coordinate study schedules and ensure protocol requirements and visit windows are met.
  • Maintain accurate source documentation, regulatory files, and essential study documents.
  • Assist with IRB submissions, amendments, continuing reviews, and regulatory requirements.
  • Enter and maintain study data in EDC/research databases and resolve data queries.
  • Coordinate with investigators, sponsors, CROs, monitors, and other study partners.
  • Prepare for monitoring visits, audits, and inspections.
  • Track study deadlines, outstanding items, and required documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with GCP, HIPAA, informed consent requirements, study protocols, and applicable regulations.
