This role will function under general direction to support cutting-edge clinical research and patient-centered care within Infectious Diseases, conducting both Industry sponsored clinical trials and research studies. This role will also provide cross coverage clinical coordination support to three other Internal Medicine's Research Units, including Rheumatology, Endocrinology, & Nephrology. This position serves as a key benchmark role within the clinical research coordination series. Under the direction of the supervisor, Principal Investigator, and research team, the position provides administrative and clinical leadership for industry-sponsored and investigator-initiated rheumatology research studies. The Clinical Research Coordinator (CRC) is responsible for the clinical coordination of patients enrolled in research studies and treatment protocols, ensuring high-quality study conduct and an exceptional patient experience. Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to: study start-up activities, subject recruitment, screening, informed consent, enrollment, visit scheduling, data collection, participant tracking, and study-related documentation. The CRC will work closely with investigators and research staff to support regulatory compliance, data integrity, and overall trial management. This position is grant funded. This position is office and clinic based and may require overtime or on-call as necessary to support recruitment and trial management. Responsibilities may shift based on workload and division need.
