Role Description

The Clinical Research Coordinator is a full-time, hybrid role based in Orange, NJ, with the ability to perform some responsibilities from home. This position oversees day-to-day coordination of clinical research studies, including participant recruitment, screening, and scheduling. The role includes managing informed consent processes, maintaining study documentation, and ensuring adherence to study protocols and regulatory requirements. The coordinator will collect and enter data, monitor participant safety, communicate with investigators and sponsors, and support the successful execution of cardiovascular clinical trials.

• Demonstrated experience in clinical research, including prior involvement in cardiovascular or related clinical studies.
• Ability to manage informed consent processes and communicate study requirements clearly and ethically to participants.
• Strong understanding of study protocols and regulatory guidelines governing clinical trials.
• Hands-on experience with clinical trials operations, including data collection, documentation, and compliance monitoring.
• Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple studies or tasks simultaneously.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills for interaction with participants, investigators, and multidisciplinary teams.
• Proficiency with electronic data capture systems and basic office software.
• Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in a health science, nursing, or related field; prior experience in cardiovascular research or outpatient settings.
