The Department of Neurology is seeking a Clinical Research Coordinator to join a dynamic, highly impactful pediatric, clinical translational NIH funded team. This role offers rewarding patient and family interactions, involving a clinical trial of a novel medical device developed at the University of Michigan for children with hypotonia and obstructive sleep apnea. The team includes Neurology (Sleep Medicine), Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery, and Biomedical Engineering, recognized for excellence by the Medical School.
The successful candidate will engage in an NIH-funded clinical trial (NCT05527652), assisting with screening, enrollment, study visits, assessments, data collection, telephone visits, regulatory tasks, and report preparation. Both in-person and remote work are expected, with some after-hours work required. Opportunities also exist for involvement in additional studies and collaborations through NHLBI and NIH.
Applicants should have healthcare research experience and be comfortable working with families and children with complex medical needs.
