Job summary

MERIEUX NUTRISCIENCES in Addison, IL is seeking a Research Assistant/Phlebotomist to support clinical trials and laboratory operations. You will perform recruitment calls, collect vitals, ECGs, DEXA, and help with data entry and specimen handling in a fast-paced research environment.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years phlebotomy experience required.
• Medical Technician or CNA or Patient Care Tech certification/experience preferred.
• BA/BS degree or equivalent work experience required.

Responsibilities

• Work with study coordinators and physicians to ensure participant safety and enrollment in clinical trials.
• Provide administrative and clinical support, including front desk check in and next day chart preparation.
• Perform vital signs, height and weight measurements, ECGs and assisting with participant visits, as needed.
• Perform recruitment calls and interact with interested participants to determine study eligibility.
• Attend and interact in study kickoff meetings.
• Maintain a high level of knowledge and understanding of assigned protocols.
• Provide necessary clinic and lab support for day to day functions.
• Complete study related documents including data entry.
