Job summary

Mérieux NutriSciences in Addison, IL is seeking a Research Assistant/Phlebotomist to assist with clinical trials. You will perform vitals, ECGs, recruit participants, and support lab operations in a dynamic research team.

The role requires 1–2 years phlebotomy experience, strong communication, and the ability to work Monday–Friday, with a 7AM start. Competitive hourly pay and full-time benefits accompany the position.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years phlebotomy experience.
• Medical Technician or CNA or Patient Care Tech.
• Excellent communicator and energetic.

Responsibilities

• Work with study coordinators and physicians to ensure participant safety and enrollment in clinical trials.
• Provide administrative and clinical support, including front desk check-in and next day chart preparation.
• Perform vital signs, height and weight measurements, ECGs and assisting with participant visits, as needed.
• Perform recruitment calls to determine study eligibility.
• Attend and interact in study kickoff meetings.
• Maintain knowledge of assigned protocols.
• Provide lab support for day-to-day functions and data entry.
• Adhere to Good Clinical Practices.
• Collect and process specimen types as needed and support laboratory operations.
