Job summary

McLean Hospital is seeking a Clinical Research Coordinator to work in a fast-paced environment supporting sponsored studies. The role involves screening participants, coordinating recruitment strategies with the Principal Investigator, and maintaining study databases with data validation.

You will assist with protocol development, IRB submissions, preliminary analyses, and staff training, contributing to high-quality research in a collaborative Mass General Brigham setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required.
• At least 1 year of directly related clinical research experience.
• Ability to work independently.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills; attention to detail.
• Analytical skills and ability to resolve technical/research problems and interpret data acceptability.
• Knowledge of clinical research protocols.
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate implementation of sponsored clinical research studies.
• Initiate and maintain contact with study participants.
• Screen applicants for eligibility and assess suitability for participation.
• Develop and implement patient recruitment strategies with the PI.
• Develop, organize, and maintain the study database; perform data validation.
• Conduct preliminary analyses and assist statistical consultant.
• Assist in protocol development, IRB submission and new study design.
• Prepare for presentations and published articles; train new staff.
